Theme: Thanksgiving

Activities for the week:

• We will review the letters we learned so far L,F,E and H.
• Make handprint turkeys in Art.
• Continue to learn about being thankful in Religion.

Other Information:

The children did a great job at Mass last Friday, they even asked when we could go again!

Theme: Thanksgiving

Activities for the week:

• Learn the letter H in handwriting.
• Learn about the first Thanksgiving.
• Make Thankful turkeys in Art.
• Play in a teepee in Dramatic Play.
• Play with pumpkin playdough.
• Attend our first Mass with our 6th grade buddies.

Wednesday, November 19th - Spirit Dress/Spirit Night

Thursday, November 20th - Bedlam Boxtops Battle - send in your boxtops, vote for your favorite team and wear OU or OSU colors.

Friday, November 21st - Appalachia Mass - we will attend Mass. Your child may bring an unwrapped gift for the St. Vincent Mission in David, KY. There is a list of items needed in the November 5th Wednesday packet.

Week of November 10 - 14

Theme: Forest Friends

Activities for the Week:

• We will learn the letter E in handwriting.
• In Dramatic Play we will go camping in the forest.
• Make shredded wheat squirrels in Art.
• Draw our favorite forest animal and dictate a sentence.
• Learn about and prepare to attend our first Mass.
• Practice number recognition and counting with unifix cubes.
• Learn about Smokey the Bear.

Other Information:

Wednesday, November 12th - Happy Birthday Ava!

We will attend our first Mass (with our 6th grade buddies) next Friday, November 21st.

Theme: Weather

Activities for the Week:

• Read our third story "La Tortuga" from our Reading program.
• Learn about God's gift of light in Religion.
• Play with pretend snow in the sensory table.

Wednesday, November 5th - Pizza Day! (don't forget to send your money if you haven't already done so)

The books that came home on Friday in your child's backpack are from the library. Please return them when your child is finished reading them. Thanks!

Friday, November 7th - bring a can of food to donate (Thanksgiving related food) and receive a free dress day.
