Activities for the week:
- We will learn about the Stations of the Cross, listen to the Bible story "Alleluia! Jesus is Alive!", learn the Jelly Bean Prayer and discover that Easter and springtime bring new life in Religion.
- Have a pretend Easter celebration in Dramatic Play.
- Play a game of Easter bingo in Math.
- Complete a missing letter bunny worksheet, read some stories, play some bean bag games, attend a play, and have an Easter egg hunt during group time this week.
- Experiment with a raw egg in vinegar in Science. The vinegar will be absorbed through the shell and cause the shell to dissolve. After three days the egg will get bigger and become rubbery.
- Make paper mache eggs in Art. Fill with grass and candy.
- Search for plastic eggs hidden in grass in the Sensory Table.
- Play with Legos in the Block center.
