Activities for the week:
- Learn the letter R in Handwriting.
- Learn that Valentine's Day is a time to celebrate love for family and friends in Religion.
- Make a brown bear in Art using paint and ground coffee.
- Create a simple pattern using gummy bears in Math.
- Use a balancing scale to weigh plastic bears in Science.
- Have a teddy bear Valentine picnic in Dramatic Play.
- Explore various colorful bears in the Sensory Table.
- Have a bear snack (berries and goldfish), listen to stories about bears, and listen to the story of The Three Bears from our reading program (Happily Ever After) during Group Time.
Other Information:
Monday, Feb. 14th - Valentine's Day party 1:00-2:00pm - please send 23 Valentine cards to school with your child. Please have them sign their name only, do not address to individual friends. Parents are welcome to attend.
