Activities for the week:
- We will have our own Olympic opening and closing ceremonies. Participate in many different Olympic games during group time.
- Learn the letter K in handwriting.
- In Religion we will learn what a missionary is and what they do using a program from the Columban Missions called Vinny's New Day.
- We will make Olympic flags and torches in Art.
- Dramatic Play will be the Olympic Ice Arena where we can play ice hockey, figure skate or speed skate.
- In the Sensory table we will search for gold, silver and bronze in the snow (packing peanuts).
- Begin to recognize and write the number 8 in Math.
